Bata, a family footwear store What you see – As we walk through the shaded pavement towards Bata at Vontikoppal in Mysore, we get a glimpse of the footwear stocked here through the large glass façade that dominates the exterior of the store. The footwear (from different Bata brands like Hush Puppies, North Star, Power and Bubblegummers) are for men, women, kids and infants and are categorized and displayed according to size and variety. We see a diverse collection of footwear like men’s formal footwear (Rs. 499 to Rs. 2,799) to men’s casual footwear (Rs. 599 to Rs. 1,999); women’s casual footwear like floaters and flip-flops (Rs. 599 to Rs. 1,099); sandals (Rs. 169 to Rs. 1,799) and sports shoes (Rs. 699 to Rs. 3,299) for men and women; and canvas shoes (Rs. 399 to Rs. 699), school shoes (Rs. 149 to Rs. 369) and casual footwear (Rs. 129 to Rs. 749) for kids.
