What you get – Levi Strauss & Co store opened in Mysore in mid 2006. It stocks jeans, shirts, jackets, sweaters, casual wear, corduroy pants, caps and other fashionable accessories for men and women (they do not have kids’ wear). The fully air-conditioned interiors of the store match the rugged look of their garments.
The ground floor stocks men’s wear and the first floor has women’s wear. Guys can choose from stylish trousers, shirts (full sleeved and half sleeved), T-shirts (with collars and round necked), jackets, sweaters, capri pants, belts etc. They have a wide range of colors and designs to choose from. Jeans come in shades of blue, black, shaded black and in a variety of washes, while the colors in the shirt collection are unlimited.
They also have jeans that can be altered into three fourths. The collection of corduroy pants is available in brown, army green, navy blue etc. but their designs are more suited to men above forty. The shirts are impressive with numerous trendy design options that are suited for casual and party wear. Men can also source caps, wrist bands, head bands, wallets, watches and other fashionable accessories here.
Women will love the jeans (low waist and tight fit), shirts (sleeveless, half sleeved and full sleeved), printed tops, capris, jackets, sweaters etc. The colors of trousers are similar to the men’s collection, but their shirts and tops are available in brighter hues. Women also have the added attraction of fashion accessories like earrings, head bands, wrist bands, chains and key chains to choose from.
Our verdict – We like their collection and interaction with customer. The sales staff is knowledgeable and helps you select the right fit. The garments display is attractive and shoppers get a good look at their garments. Though their prices are higher end, the quality and comfort of their clothing is legendary. The accessories, on the other hand seem to be priced steeply banking on the brand name. Like other stores on D Devaraj Urs Road, parking space is very limited and is shared.
