What you get - Simha Silks has been one of the earliest stores to be set up in KR Circle. It enjoys immense popularity for its range of pure silk sarees like Mysore silk, Kanchipuram and Dharmavaram, along with a limited collection of silk cotton sarees and salwar kameez. As we take a quick look around the store the dazzling collection lights up our eyes instantly. The sarees are displayed according to their category and pricing and as soon as you ask for the type the staff showcases a spread, helping you take a closer look.

The Mysore silk sarees displayed here seem like a work of art for their intrinsic weaves and royal beauty. These are priced over Rs. 1,500 and are available in breathtaking colors suitable for even weddings. Kanchipuram and Dharmavaram sarees are as beautiful and start from Rs. 1,000 stretching over to Rs. 10,000. Their collection of silk cotton sarees and salwar kameez is limited but still worth a look. The silk cotton sarees are ideal for small functions and get-togethers as they are lightweight and easy to carry; the salwars can make for scintillating formal wear, especially for teenage girls.

Our verdict – The collection of sarees at Simha Silks is good and you will be spoiled for choice. The color combinations are beautiful. Mysore silk sarees available here are directly purchased from the KSIC factory in Mysore. The sales personnel are knowledgeable and provide a good helping hand in picking the best. Additional services include tailoring. Parking is a major problem here. Most people tend to use the roadside.
