What you see – The first thing we noticed at Style Spa was the ergonomic arrangement of the showroom and its spaciousness. The contemporary, no fuss, clean design of its furniture comes through strongly in its display. Situated on the ground floor, on the main road, Style Spa has ample parking space.
What you get – Style Spa has its headquarters in Chennai and is promoted by the Zuari–Chambal group. We were informed that their furniture is manufactured in Chennai and has most modern plants. They use particleboards or MDF (Medium density fibre) boards mostly imported from Europe for the furniture. For extra durability, the wood is laminated, varnished and edge sealed in their factory.
Style Spa is known for elegant and contemporary furniture for homes and offices. They also sell mattresses and pillows. They have furniture for the living room, bedroom, dining hall, study room and miscellaneous pieces as well. If you plan to buy furniture from Style Spa, you can have their representatives visit your home to measure rooms and recommend the type of furniture to befit the look and feel of each room.
For the living room they have single sofas (Rs. 8,200) and exemplary sofa sets (Rs. 32,000), television cabinets (Rs.16,000-19,000) and tables (glass topped tables cost Rs. 7,000.) The bedroom furniture includes cots (double and single) priced between
Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 15,000, bunk beds (Rs. 10,000) dressing mirrors and wall units (priced between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 48,000 respectively).
Their collection of dining tables has glass topped dining tables (Rs. 18,000), metal ones (Rs. 17,500) and those made of wood (Rs. 21,000). If you are looking for furniture for your child’s study room pick from the stylish chairs (Rs.1,700), computer tables (between Rs.16,000 and Rs. 22,000) and study desks (Rs. 12,000). They also stock miscellaneous furniture like mirrors, multi purpose units and shoe racks.
Our verdict – If you are looking for furniture with modern styling then walk into Style Spa. They also undertake servicing and offer a year’s warranty on all their furniture. We asked if they could make furniture based on our design. Since they manufacture more than 600 units of furniture everyday, only bulk orders of custom designs can be manufactured, they said. They deliver furniture free of cost within city limits.
