Editorial Review

The bright lights of Edelweiss Austrian Cafe are inviting as we approach Vani Villas Mohalla on Adipampa Road in Mysore. A large and attractive glass façade at the entrance give us a peep into the small, but well-furnished café.

PLEASE AVOID. I walked into this cafe at 4pm on a friday. I was the lone customer and there was a lady who looked unhappy that I went there and disturbed her nap time.. she took my order with great pain and got the food after like some 1 hour... food was bad.. the salad was stale... the chips were dumb and the chicken tasted like a road side preparation.... then the owners family came in and belive me the place became their extended living room with a granny changing the babies dipers... some 5 kids sitting and coloring.... with the owner lady assembling stuff for some class she was to attend.. with her guests sitting and chatting... it was so uncomfortable for me as if I went uninvited to their home instead of a cafe...... and they didnt seem to bother that there was a customer sitting in their cafe who is uncomforable.... Then their pet dog happily walked into the food preparation area.. that when i left my food and paid my bills and walked away... the hygiene of the place was bad too.. with lotsa flies and insects.... surprising given that the owner lady is Austrian... PLEASe PLEASE PLEASE Aovid this place....
